Pixel 7a — NAUTICAL slim

My phone survived falling many meters from a bridge into a raging rock filled river in flood in this ghostek case!!!!! The phone was found by chance over a day later buried, except the lanyard strap, in a muddy silt pool around 10 meters below it's point of entry. The device was returned to me a few days later via post in perfect working order. The case itself sustained only some almost invisible scuffing of a small area on the clear screen protection. I remain incredulous that it could have survived at all, given it's violent ride. Let alone to be undamaged and almost unblemished The general functionality is great, and installing it was straightforward. mic and speaker sound are both good with the case on. I have used both wireless charging and cable charging without any problem. The cable port cover is slightly tricky to open, but given it's purpose that's not a problem at all.

Durability without a doubt

I'm pretty rough on phones and this car has been up to the job over the last few weeks. The battery flap is a little tight as sober other reviews noted, but not so bad that I struggle with it. The buttons work well and the fingerprint reader works well, too.
